Original sources and source types

Public agency material, research, and a clinic’s own information are different types of sources. We link explanations to the original material so readers can trace them.

The date actually checked

We record when material was read and checked. We do not assume that historical information describes the present or change review dates without a new check.

Evidence status and limitations

We distinguish checked facts, institutional statements, unverified information, and conflicting sources. Repeated citations of one original source do not count as independent evidence.
